Introduction
Norma Linda Ureña joined Wechsler Becker in 2020 with decades of experience, working in both the non-profit sector and private practice. She has extensive experience in family law and wage claim issues. Norma Linda serves a diverse clientele in several counties in Washington, and offers legal services in both English and Español.
Norma Linda graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 1994 and has been an active member of the legal community ever since. She volunteers with several legal organizations, including the King County Bar Association, Snohomish County Legal Services, Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, and Seattle University’s Access to Justice Institute.
In recognition of her hours and time working pro bono, she was recognized in 2006 by the King County Bar Association as Volunteer of the Month, and in 2009 as Attorney of the Year for her work in the community. Norma Linda is a member of several community organizations and actively participates in numerous steering committees of civil rights organizations. Her article, “No Immigration Without Emigration,” has been published through OneWorld.org an international human rights organization.
